The Guys Mini Style Guide
February 2, 2012
A guy that catches my attention easily is confident and comfortable in his own skin. I think that being comfortable with yourself ties hand in hand with being comfortable with how you’re viewed by others. A well-dressed guy is always pleasant to see. Whether you’re rocking the popular 90’s fashion, with snap backs and retro Nike’s, or the preppy style with subtle, classical patterns, you’re sure to be a sight for sore eyes.
Some 2012 trends that seem to be very promising are the denim chambray, button-down with rolled sleeves, fitted jeans, and crew neck t-shirts. When it comes to accessorizing, don’t over do it. Be sure to keep it simple with a nice watch, clean-cut diamond earrings, or a flattering fitted hoodie. Don’t be afraid to show off your most valuable assets. If you enjoy exercising, wear a tighter shirt to show off your build. If you have nice hair, get your hair cut in a way that accentuates it.
Need help finding your own style? It’s okay to take ideas from someone else. Sometimes you need a vision to get started on your own self project. There are tons of celebrity fashion icons who are known for their great look. Kanye West, Tinie Tempah, David Beckham, and Big Sean are great fashion role models. They each have a different type of swag that compliments them so well.
The most important factor in style is accepting who you are and how you are. Be yourself; don’t stress yourself out trying to be someone you’re not. Do things that make you feel good. And most importantly, don’t be afraid to try new trends and styles.
