The Radford annual costume contest concluded on Oct. 31. There were five categories: the funniest, the most creative, the spookiest, group costumes, and teacher entries. The event was held during noon hour at the outdoor stage where contestants entered themselves in the contest through Google Forms. Participants had to attend this lunch hour in order to be eligible for this contest. The winners received a box of homemade cupcakes as an award which were made by Radford’s culinary class.
While the student council announced the winners, they had other activities for students to enjoy as they watched. This included slime making and spinning a wheel for prizes such as candy and small toys. This event showcased the wide variety of the Ram Spirit.
