I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a movie this much.

“The Help” is set in the late 1960s in a southern town in Mississippi. The main characters are Skeeter, Aibileen, Minny, and Hilly. Skeeter is a girl brought up by high-society southern women, and her family’s slave, her mentor.

Skeeter is aspiring to go to college and become a writer. She stirs up a lot of trouble when she decides to write about and interview black women who spend their whole lives taking care of southern people’s children. The movie is about Skeeter, Minny, and Aibileen trying to make black women’s voices heard.

“The Help” is delightful, humorous, and heartfelt. But be warned; this movie is a tear jerker. All the characters and personalities in this movie tie together so perfectly that you never want the movie to end. This movie is definitely a feel good movie for everybody. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to laugh, cry, and leap for joy for this wonderful movie.
