“Kirsten has been an integral part of our preparations for the soccer season thus far.  As one of the returning seniors, she has maintained a high work ethic and drive, but has also shown improved leadership in practices and scrimmages. Kirsten was originally projected to be a striker this year, but injuries have forced the coaches to start her at goalie instead.  Although she has not played this position for awhile, she stepped in with no complaints and continues to lead the team; only from the back instead of the front,” Coach Ryan said.
