Players practiced their forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves all summer long and into the school year.

The JV girls tennis team finished their season with a season record of 2-5.

During their season they were victorious against Kapolei winning 3-2 matches.

They headed to Pearl City losing to a score of 1-4. Next, the girls faced Leilehua losing 2-3 and rallied against Campbell losing 2-3.

They lost 0-5 to Waipahu, and in their last and only home game facing Mililani, they lost 2-3. They won their last game against Aiea 3-2.

“I think the season was really good,” Coach Raye said. “Tennis is a mental and physical sport that takes time to learn.”
