Knowledge

Matt Mann, Contributor

To know, varies from person to person
To comprehend in addition to repeat
For to know is not to comprehend
To know is to accept familiarity
For familiarity of pattern defines understanding
All observed, all felt, all perceived
All built up of familiarity
For knowledge is based on perspective
The verbatim nature of definitions
The authoritative nature of ignorance
For that which holds back society, acts as man’s inspiration
To inspire to learn from the basis of former familiarity
For the dictation of thought, a feeble mechanic
To compress the surreal into the confined
That which lacks familiarity termed illogical
The illogical being of ignorance is that which it claims to correct
For to correct understanding is an impossible duty
For the duty of knowledge arises in perspective
