Radford High School is appealing to its school community, faculty, and students for a chance to earn money for the school.
As part of its “Bank for Education” program, American Savings Bank is contributing $30 to a customer’s Hawaii school of choice for every new checking account opened between Sept. 26 to Dec. 15, 2011.
The program gives up to $30 to the school of a customer’s choice when the customer opens a new checking account.
$10 is awarded for the opening deposit of $30 and enrollment in online banking/ e-statements within 30 days. Another $10 is awarded when customers sign up for direct deposit of $30 or more for the new account. The first direct deposit must be received no later than Jan. 16, 2012. The last $10 is awarded when customers complete more than 10 check card purchases (PIN or signature authorized) within the first 30 days of opening that account.
This program will allow Radford High School to receive funds to help improve the campus and provide teaching supplies, computers, books, athletic equipment, or any other area where the school recognizes a need.
