Most students won’t know what the next school year will bring; they might be worried for what’s to come. With new friends, new teachers and new challenges, when do students start to become more comfortable with high school?
Students shared for one piece of advice to give to younger grades.
“Do Homework. Respect your teachers. Get a good amount of sleep. Don’t skip field trips. Take Ms. Griffay’s marine biology class.”
-Dash Tyson, Grade 12
“Don’t get into drama. Drama gets everyone upset. Spend time with people; make plans to go out.”
-Brad Yoakly, Grade 11
“Keep to yourself and don’t get involved with people that bring attention to themselves. Befriend your teachers, it will always help.”
-Dylan Fish, Grade 12
“Honestly, don’t focus on all that drama. Just focus on you and your grades.”
-Gabbi Betts, Grade 10
It’s important to have a great school year and take advantage of all the experiences. So, hopefully, this advice can help you thrive in the school years to come.
