Anna Engelbrecht is a new teacher to the World Languages department, teaching Spanish I and II classes.

She is in her sixth year of teaching, who chose to teach Spanish because “I want to share my love of languages with others and I enjoy being around young people.”

Engelbrecht graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an Education degree focusing on Spanish K-12.

Engelbrecht is a self-professed Army brat, and an Air Force spouse and mom.

Since arriving to the school, she said that the school has been very welcoming.

“I have amazing students and I really enjoy all of my classes,” she said.

Outside of school, Engelbrecht enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.
