Edwards Joins Resource Department

Cassandra Edwards is a resource teacher to the social studies department who loves her job.

Edwards said that she decided to become a teacher after high school.

“I was working as a swim instructor and I loved to see the look on children’s faces when they grasped a new concept,” she said. “I couldn’t imagine being in any other career.”

She currently teaches World History, Psychology and American Problems. Before moving to Hawaii, she taught in Gulf Breeze, FL and Starkville, MS for three years.

Edwards received both her bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Edwards said that she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
