January’s facilitator of the month is junior Madeline Skrocki.

Her Transition Center peers selected her as January’s TC facilitator of the month because she is hard-working, passionate about what she does, and very friendly.

“My favorite experience in the facilitator program is when a new student feels comfortable at Radford,” said Skrocki. “It’s really rewarding.”

She joined the facilitator program because she has experience moving and she likes to help new students. She has lived in eight different places including Washington, England, Texas, Illinois, Alabama, New Jersey, Texas, Virginia and Hawaii) and moved a total of nine times (she moved to Texas twice).

She keeps herself busy as vice-president of National Honor Society, president in Mu Alpha Theta, and vice-president of Student Council. In her free time she likes to dance, particularly in classical ballet.
