New band teacher Mr. David Hirano comes to Radford into his sixth year of teaching.

He has experience at Hokulani, Hahaione, and Wailupe Valley Elementary Schools and Kailua Intermediate, and Kahuku High and Intermediate Schools.

“The students are enthusiastic, want to do well, quick to adapt to my new style,” Mr. Hirano said.

Mr. Hirano earned a bachelor’s of education and a master’s of music degrees from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

His hobbies include music and spending time with family and friends.
