Myers Joins Social Studies Department

Janella Myers is a new face to Radford, joining the social studies department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Hawai’i and a master’s in American History from Wright State University.

“I decided to get into teaching because I love learning new things and enjoy sharing this knowledge with others,” she said.

She believes that Radford is filled with students that have a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

“Radford is structured in a way that provides additional support for the teachers,” she said, “and enforces discipline, respect, and responsibility on the students.”

Myers is going into her fourth year of teaching. She taught at Aiea High School and Moanalua High School.

During her her free time, she enjoys shopping, reading, traveling,  swimming, and doing yoga.
